Screeech! A police patrol car flew into the mall parking lot, coming to a squealing stop right before the curb. Two officers jumped out and slammed their doors. There was a noticeable tension in their strides as they walked to the door. The cop on the right was younger than the other, and kept glancing around. Dispatch had reported a particularly gruesome murder at the Pearl edge Mall.
